On Martin Luther King Day (January 21), Democrat Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) warned: “Millennials and people, you know, Gen Z and all these folks that will come after us are looking up and we’re like: ‘The world is gonna end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change, and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?”
Like so many sophists, she quoted the Bible (Genesis chapters 1 and 2) in attempt to validate her prognostication. (Read Joseph Farah’s commentary.)
Of course, the Bible does not predict the world will end in 12 years—2021—as the result of climate change.
Nor will it end with the Second Coming of Jesus seven years after the Antichrist signs a bogus peace treaty with Israel, according to my old friend Hal Lindsey and others of his persuasion.
I used to be one of them. Until I learned what the Bible really says about the Antichrist, the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and the end of the world as we know it.
You (and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Hal Lindsey crowd) can read all about it in my free-to-read booklet, “The Antichrist.”
